Preferences : I/O & System Options

Choosing "Preferences..." from the File Menu, or clicking "Preferences..." in the MPegger window allows you to specify the encoding options. There are three pages of options. The second page of options looks like this.

1. Change Destination
Lets you select where MPegger will create the files it encodes

2. CD Import Routine
Lets you select the sampling rate and channel mode when you extract audio from a CD.

3. Delete Source Files After Encoding
If this is set, MPegger will delete any files it encodes after it encodes them.

4. Monopolize the CPU
Devotes more system resources to MPegger than normal, resulting in a slight speed increase during encoding. However, it will significantly slow down anything else you're doing while it encodes.

5. Sound on Completion
Plays a sound when MPegger finishes encoding all of the files you give it.

6. Completion Sound
If #5 is checked, this lets you select one of four sound effects that will be played on completion.
